Program Title: Community Outreach Opportunities

Program Description: We seek to further amplify our voice, keep our society informed, and develop impactful partnerships with like-minded community-based organizations. Through opportunities like Ayuda event support, advocacy trainings, and community outreach to potential partners, we are always welcoming individuals to help us expand the reach of our work

Jobs Offered: We typically need support with the following jobs/opportunities to support our community outreach opportunities

• Event Support, like our annual Welcome Breakfast and annual spring event
• Community Tabling Events
• External Training Support

Opportunity Requirements:  

Required: 

• Excellent interpersonal skills 
• Strong cross-cultural communication abilities  
• Being a team player  
• Positivity and enthusiasm for our work 
• Vaccinated for COVID-19 

Preferred: 

• Fluency in English and Spanish 

Commitment:  

• Our community outreach opportunities are not offered on a set schedule as we will recruit volunteers upon invitation to an event/engagement participating in
• Opportunities will typically be one-day occurrences on weekdays and weekends for a total of 2 - 3 hours on average
