Opportunity Description: We invite you to lend a helping hand as we come together to package essential supplies and resources for our clients in need.
Ayuda supports low-income immigrants, the majority of whom are survivors of crime including domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking. The ongoing in-kind assistance we can provide is so beneficial to those we help in their journey toward self-sufficiency.
Whether it's food, clothing, toys, hygiene products, or educational materials, your contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking a better future.
These events go beyond just assembling packages; it's an opportunity to stand in solidarity with our immigrant friends and neighbors, letting them know they are valued and welcomed. Our dedicated team will guide you through the process, ensuring a rewarding and enriching experience for all volunteers.

Responsible to: Our Volunteer Coordinator, Connor Paul
Volunteer Capacity: Capacity within these opportunities is flexible and should align with number of kits assembling / budget using to procure in-kind items to ensure all participants can be engaged and provide impactful service
Responsibilities:
Unboxing and inventorying of supplies utilizing.
Placing items into bags using
Passing of bags down the assembly line and ensuring all items and correct quantities being included
Writing of cards of encouragement to accompany in kind packages
Tying/Zipping completed bags shut and placing in our transport bags
Assisting with moving our transport bags from volunteer site to our volunteers’ vehicle
Opportunity Requirements:
We don’t have many requirements for this opportunity other than joining in person, being a team player, and bringing positivity and enthusiasm to help!
While not required, volunteers who are able to lift and carry boxes/bags up to 10 - 20 lbs., have artistic abilities, or are bilingual English – Spanish will definitely be able to use those skills!
Participate: To setup a group volunteer packaging event for your team/office/congregation/club, etc., reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator who will be happy to provide you with an item list for the type of kit above interested in packaging and provide you with next steps and support throughout the preparations, in addition to joining and leading the event.
